despite the fact that i am completely sleep-deprived, i am somehow managing to function. i did however, manage to take some pretty random picture of my new haircut outside yesterday. next time, once the back is a little longer, i will cut the sides even shorter. the back is just in a weird stage of growing right now.
looking for a room to rent is a lot more stressful than i think i realized. so far i've probably sent out 20 emails to potential new roommates to see if i could come take a look at the room. only 2 have responded. maybe i'm just not charming enough via email?
in the beginning i can admit that i was a little bit picky/snobbish at choosing a room. hardwood floors, high ceilings, close to alberta arts, close to public transit, my own bathroom etc.
then i learned that there is nowhere in the greater portland area that fits that description that i an afford.
i do however have a few leads though which is somewhat good news. it's just a tad bit stressful figuring out my schedule these days. i've had 2 people in the last week ask me out for dates and i politely declined.
no time for dating. no time for fun...
well maybe a little time for fun :)
